This is a poem about the sinner's prayer in which they seek guidance and repentence. |
"Searching for You" I'm as stubborn as an ox, but I can't fight the wind. and not until I'm waist deep have i realized I've sinned. Along with my friends, I try to reach my golden oz, But as long as it's not for me... I know that it's a lost cause. God promises a safe landing, but not a calm passage; which makes it difficult to disregard temptation and distractions. With good intentions he follows through with intervention; as the more you try to hide the more he sees; so i bow down and seek repentence, as an angel on bended knee... --BJones 7.14.06 |
