A poem about a lost soul full of regret |
| Love and Death I lie here and wait, in limbo between Heaven and Hell I know I'm in a state, and as far as I can tell My arms are still here, but there is a terrible odour I don't know how to fear, and by now I should be older Here and now there is neither heat nor cold But my days of feeling heat or indeed wearing gold are long since gone I left my seat and stepped into the dark blue giant, from where I heard my song And all that seemed hopeless before, just drifted away But I know is hopeless evermore. I turn, but there is nothing, no more to say. |
