A poem of my mind

do i belong

to all those who feel humbled by the greatness of others

Did you ever look up at the sky at night?
Did you ever see the stars glittering like a city in the void?
Did you ever feel the slightest bit humbled by its majesty?
I see greatness all around me,
I see wonderful things,
And i think to myself,
where do i fit in?
So far behind,
So base and feral a creature,
Do i truly belong amongst such splendour?
