God loves His children

Is God Proud Of Me?

I watched my little girl with pride.
The light in her eyes came from deep inside.
Her beautiful hair was a pleasure to see.
I was so proud that she came from me.

I also watched my sweet baby boy.
Hearing him coo filled me with great joy.
His smiling face was a pleasure to see.
I was so proud that he came from me.

Then I wondered if my Father in Heaven,
The One by whom my children were given,
Looked at me as I looked at them,
And was as proud that I came from Him.
