My Horror Of The Past

I closed my eyes,
And fell asleep,
Not knowing I would see,
My horror of the past,
Standing right in from of me...

I screamed, and then awoke,
Body trembling, eyes of tears,
It seems that I, may never lose,
The heartache,
And the fear...

Its been years,
Since this horror,
But when I close my eyes,
It seems like yesterday,
And I again begin to cry...

I tell it all to go away,
I push with all my might,
I'd rather have no dreams,
Than those with Horror,
And with Fright...
