this is a poem i wrote after i had to go on vacation

(1st draft)
Oh please just tell me why
i cant be home before i cry
i only saw glimpses before i roamed
its been so long since I've been home
i miss my family and loving friends
ive tried to make this vacation end
I want to leave I miss it so
its been so long since ive been home
the glimpse was way too fast, it seems
reality now only dreams
but its a place i'd rather be
my vacation spot made just for me
i hope and pray that soon i'l go
its been so long since i've been home
my own TV, my own warm bed
a drawn on roof over my head
the internet, and books galore
friendly faces, relaxation
that is my preffered vacation
but all of that has come and left
there's no more tears since i have wept
now i feel like I'm alone
because they keep a happy tone
so I'll live on and stay safely on the phone
because its been so long since ive been home
