A poem about the nature of the rotting corpse and death. |
| Roving through deaths disease. Waiting for the innocent to be captured. To be strung along with the corpses of life. Bodies together in evil misery. Caught in a web of lies and deceit. Exploding with maggots to eat the diseased flesh exposed. Cloth sticking to splintered bones. Eyes sunken in laughing skulls. Fingers relaxed and dried to crackling. A mouth forever crying. Deaths' defiance gives tribute to man. A corpse bleeding into the earth. Boiling to a point of no substance. Smelling of decay. Reeking of dishonesty. Sunlight never favors the damned. |
