A woman is being abused by her love.

So hurt, she cries
He tells her to dry her eyes
The pain inside...
She can't help but die inside...

Livid, he is
So faithful is her fear
Their home is anything...
But full of cheer...

Rain clouds form
The blood is new and warm
Her hands they bleed...
Of her every desire and need

He stomps, he stares
Run, her head declares
Her feet don't match....
He's really quite the catch...

It's unbearable, she screams
He brings her to her knees
His fists, he raises...
The devil is his name...

Preacher man says, dry your eyes
The sky glooms a gray...
