"WHEREVER IT MAY LEAD"

Lost in the shadows, no one knows of my needs
Can no one but me see how my heart bleeds?
A pawn in a game where no one can win
I was born a mistake, born into a life of sin
Escape impossible, battered and bruised
Lost in the shadows to be but abused
I will find a way out, wherever it may lead
A world where my heart will no longer bleed
Lost in the shadows without a friend
How I wish the abuse would come to an end
One day I will grow stronger and I will succeed
I will find a way out, wherever it may lead
