Upset and Alone

A poem about a rough time in my life.

You told me you loved me
More than anything in life
That you'd be there forever
And I'd be your wife

I wil protect you always
You promised with your soul
You broke that and my heart
You left a great big hole

Now our mix is growing
Living, heart beating in my womb
Now am I stuck with you
Apparently, you assumed

So let me set the record straight
And give you a big clue
I want nothing to do with
Your family and you!
