Wet with a Tear

One of my poems.

When I wake up I realize you're not here
My pillow becomes wet with a tear
Days seem to be darker
Nights seem to be harder
I end up crying myself to sleep
I can't believe I have fallen in love this deep
I asked you to be my wife
You told me to get on with my life
You have taken what you had to take
I can feel my heart break
As I try to sleep I wish you were here
