Poem of a Poem

This is a poem about the struggle of writing a poem but persisting anyway!

I tried to write a poem
about a rainy day
drip,drop, rain drop
on the window

I tried to write this poem
using lots of words,
but all that came to mind,
was nothing at all

I tried to write my poem
in a rhyming form
but it didn't sound quite right
and so I changed the words

I tried to write the poem
for I had nothing to do
but the words came out wonky
and hard to understand

I tried to write a poem
with words and ryhme and skill
but it really didn't work,
and so I'll try again.
