A bold hero
Rises through the ground
Strong fist to the sky
Encased in gold
For all he is worth.
Fearing nothing
Feared by everything.
Who is courage?
Mere ignorance
Or bravery?
How do you fight
If you know
You will lose?
Courage
Is doing everything you want to do
Even if you can't.
Courage
Is staring your demons
In the eye
Until they are demons no more.
Courage
Is standing up
Every time you are knocked down.
Courage
Is risking yourself
To spare others.
Courage
Is not fearlessness.
Courage
Is admitting when you are scared.
If what you see here
Is you,
No matter how much you fear
Courage
Is yours.
