A lament about old poetry |
| Taking a Stand Agianst Derision of the Poetry of Yesteryear Impaled am I for asking why the inverse verse is through. Rhyme and rhythm turn me on. Why can't they turn on you? I guess they do. You've cast aside the very pride that made our nation strong. Those platitudes and attitudes inspired both old and young. Oops! That rhyme is wrong! I see it now. the sacred cows are far too hard to muster. You first unite and then make light of what once was right. I'm standing ground with Custer. |
