I thought of you....

When dawn had just begun,
with the sun rising toward the sky,
I thought of you.
When I breathed in the fresh morning air,
living these moments without a care,
I thought of you.
When I rode the subway all on my own,
no one to talk with or walk with--just me alone,
I thought of you.
When the sky was swallowed by the dark of the night,
and stars appeared--the only source of light,
I thought of you.
I spent that night lying on my bed,
wondering "Were you thinking of me too?"
I thought of you, I thought of you.
It was then,
that I thought of you.
