Slap

A Poem submitted to a contest to describe anger without using that word. Plz read.

Slap

SLAP

I fall to the ground,
crying in pain,
what did I do now?

SLAP

You hit my arms,
they are bruised up in red,
imitating the colour of you're face.

SLAP

My head snaps to one side,
I loved you before,
And I remember you saying that back.

SLAP

The face of yours,
The eyes you stare with,
Sees right into me.

SLAP
Such a hungry look,
Like a predator,
Ready to eat it's prey.

SLAP
My head hits the ground,
Why do you do this?
Why do you put me in such agony?

SLAP

Why do you abuse me,
throw me around,
Like I am just an object?

SLAP

Please stop,
The gesture of your hand,
The way you stare at me.

SLAP

I rather be,
in hell itself,
Then you keep beating me.
