A Walk with God

A poem to help inspire the soul.

I wandered down to the edge of the blue sea
I was yearning to find my heart lost at me
Purple lilacs all abloom standing tall and fine
I saw my soul alive as I felt the morning sunshine

Fog drifted away,the glory of the day was anew
With the auras of blue, yellow and crimson to
Awash in this happiness I smiled, a day for me
I walked a path to the shore, feeling free

Tredding in new sand I felt the presence of God
He was guiding my steps as I walked the sandy sod
Deliver me now my Lord as I walk on to eternity
Comfort me with your love, bless ,me with serenity
