And we shall shine in dark...a poem of the Light |
| As darkness falls, From beyond the horizon. Where my heart and soul Are meant to be... I see how everything, Has place and purpose; Past the Sunset, Beyond the Sea. As darkness falls And smothers my room, The light so coveted No longer catches my eye. And peace and comfort... Has no room in me. No reason to hide... This evil within. For as darkness falls, And consumes our souls Will we not act, As that darkness would? Our souls so broken Our lives defy... Everything about us In terror's ill move. Yet as darkness fell, Trying to shut out the Light. The Light didn't fail... Something burned right through. For it is only in darkness, Does the Light shine bright. As the Light now shines... In my heart so true. |
