The day can be so long
As the wait to see you again
I've poured my energy into you
And yet, I know when you'll cave in

Your loveliness overtakes the light
It makes me weak within
Yet you seem calm, but you seek the fight to win

I'll love you until the day of non-existence
Or until time caves in
And I'll cry for you, and use great persistence
