Contemplation of a Suicide

I think the title explains it well.

contemplation of a suicide
the mutterings of an unconscious
incoherent mind
to the ears of sympathetic
listeners
scars of the flesh
of the mind come to the surface long
thought dead visible reminders
of a time when strength had fled
recalling what to live for
suffering paused
and hoped to never be thought of
ever again never again
the thoughts have always been not
lost in the shuffle
and always forgotten
as the tears of a life fall on
a single page
