poem, body metaphorically refered to a car and, branded "solitaire" ! |
| SOLITAIRE – A SINGLE JEWEL 'Solitaire' - a car my body, cruising along the highway of life, propelled by the pistons of conscience, faithfully fixed for bumpy rides. Operating without manuals, delighting in smooth roads accidents would mar its polished looks. pounding would mend some dents overhauls would rejuvenate its blocked valves. Shielding winds and rains of thoughts, glimpses are caught in tinted glass. it feels and responds uncertain of the next stop. A cherished means to the end. A model of its own. A beauty meant for the maker’s yard. |
