A poem (loosely) based on a dream I had. |
Zig-zag diagonally, and close your eyes. Yearn for the moment, caught like a Xerox print, immortally for all time. Wander fervently, each footstep treading Volatile Dreams that rumble, Under stormy skies devoid of natural light. Trail your hand through rippling space, Sending fragments across the Universe, Radially. Quiet stars plummet to your feet, Poking holes in the essence of existence, Otherwise undone. Native winds blast sticky tears, Meandering gravitationally. Loneliness chokes your wishing. Kaleidoscopic expectations die in moments, Joining all cares. Inquisitive thread entices the pilgrim onward Holding eternity hostage. Glum darkness and skewed gloom Fitfully broken by new fledged sunlight. Errant explosions bloom before your eyes, Dizzily decomposing the world as you stand Confused, spiralling thoughts clashing inside,as Bizarre light shines, scattering the end of Angels. |
