| The crimson rose is positioned upright in the vase (Solitary and distinctive in its splendor). It waits for its depiction Of affection that I had abandoned. Nevertheless, it lingers (Desolate and forlorn). It shall never shift its position, To signify the sole commitment of my heart. The years orbit the sun, and the rose matures. (A depiction of my own progressing age). The rose withers away into the wrinkles upon my brow. And simultaneously, we die alone. |
