Left Behind

Portrays many lonely people

She walks in the rain,head hung low
long hair covers her face, emotion does not show.
Her soul cries out but no one hears,
loneliness overwhelms her darkest fears
Invisible she stands, cold and left behind,
longing for something,the love she cannot find.
Her clothes of self esteem are tattered and torn,
being cut and beaten the scars she has worn.
Her heart is empty as she stares at the sky,
nothing left to live for is she just meant to die?
When she cries alone scared at night,
she is given nothing no one shows her the light.
She seeks something she cannot find,
so she walks unnoticed and left behind.
