Constant Chattering!
Incessant Yammering!
Children Screaming!
Old Woman Blathering!
Television Blaring!
Telephone Ringing!
Tap Water Streaming!
Footsteps Thundering!

Head Pounding!
Back Aching!
Legs Shaking!
Hair Pulling!
Coffee Drinking!

SCREAM!!!

The school bell has rung,
And the baby is napping.
Grandma's out shopping,
And hubby's at work.
The television is now turned off.
The telephone is off the hook.
Dishes are done and put away.
The thunder of footsteps disappear.

The music sounds soothing,
Cigarettes seem calming,
Tylenol begins working,
Body starts relaxing,
As the Coffee is cooling.

Sigh...

The day has just begun.
