World of Light

I'm going to free write this right now, so I don't know what it's like yet.

Descend with us
to the world of light,
where you can find
what you seek.
Forget not the
melody of death,
as it presents a balance
unto us all.
Fear only those who smile,
for it is they
who find comical
something hidden in your eyes.
Rethink your decisions,
since this life
has a meaning
only if it is found.
Close your eyes
to shield from the light,
as our world
only befits the blinded.
Correct your mistakes
and live in regret,
tying your life
to the spike in the ground.
Never look upon
the angel of laughter,
as she'll only ruin
what you've worked so hard for.
Garb yourself in
a dark cloak,
to wrap pure darkness
around your very soul.
Tell yourself that you
protect what is good,
but observe that others
may find it evil.
Believe in what
you think is fair,
although suffering
may be the result.
Decipher your own thoughts,
as they are the clue
to reaching our
world of light.
It is only there
and only here,
where you will find
who you seek.
