The Clover

just a kinda sad thing i wrote

In this black dress I do depart
From every pain within my heart
I creep up then down below
As each pain within me grows
But it will all be done with soon
And I can descend into eternal gloom
I feel the beats within my heart
Slowly stop and then restart
My life, the pain it will all be over
As I fall into the clover
This is the place I swore I would wed
Now tis only the place of the dead
My shadow cast upon this land
As I reach out my dying hand
Nothing left for me to grasp
As I breathe my last painful rasp
