a powwow experience of The People

"PowWow Circle"


Sage and cedar,
Feathers and beads.
Leather, gourds,
And lavender seeds.

Fry bread, tacos,
Buffalo burgers and more.
Vendors with their wares,
All welcome to explore.

Tobacco, smudge,
And cornmeal blessing.
Preparing the circle
For bright hues fledgling.

Gather around
Singers of the drumbeat.
Prayerfully celebrate
The dance in moccasin feet.
