The Love Of A Father

A poem inspired by my husband and son.

Two cowboys one young and one old
Both share the same passion, Both are so bold.
Two genuine souls brought together by fate
For after two and a half years mommy was late.
She brought this young cowboy into a world of many
And both mommy and daddy knew they were ready.
Ready for the young lad to grace them with his presence
And they looked forward to the little boys’ menace.
He loves him dearly so everyone knows
As they watch these two cowboys one young and one old
