Trapped only to break free

A little girl is trapped inside of me never meant to be made free.

While living in a world of lies
there is a little girl that cries
she cries in agony and pain out for help
but no one is around to hear her yelp
nobody cares anymore these past years
why can't it go back to where there where no tears
she used to have fun fishing and playing
but, now there is no telling what she's saying
nobody will ever know what happens behind the scenes
this little girl only wants to live through her teens
being free at last having captured in this world for so long
though this world has hurt her so bad she still trys to stay strong
her emotions get tangled
while she fears of being strangled
she's scared and trys to hide
but there's no place to go inside
this little girl is trapped inside of me
but, it'll get better sooner, I'll see
my fears are becoming real
and all this I feel
nothing will change though
everything seems so slow
it'll work out once he's away
then I'll be free and never go back to stay
