Mystery of Emotion

a poem of meaning that is hard to comprehend to the untrained eye.

it’s in that beautiful moment when our worries slip away
and all that is left is the world in your eyes
and everything i ever felt
is nothing but a glimpse of what i feel right now
the shadows part in our pathway
and the world watches in jealous wonder
the safety of your arms steals away the pain
and the beauty of your eyes steals away my heart
nothing matters now
all i can see is this mysterious world
one in which i dont understand and dont want to
for in it’s mystery is where i find this feeling
this emotion that drenches my body
and draws me closer and closer to you
this ecstasy that brings reality to it’s end
and lets imagination take it’’s place
this virgin beauty that puts wings on my heart
and makes two, one
