It describes the most majestic bird, the eagle. |
| I remember the past, Days of old When the flight of the eagle Was a sight to behold. Soaring through The sky so cold; A majestic creature Brave and bold. From the eagle's nest Hatched a mighty bird That would soon fly free From the distant world. Flying to places, To men unheard. A tale to be understood Word-by-word. Reaching up to the Clear, blue sky. Soaring to places Aces high Truly majestic, One can not deny. Shouting out A glorious cry. Though the flight of These creatures may falter, Death and peril That might occur The winds of destiny And time would alter That their demise Would surely deter. To the eagle we give Our endless praise The eagle with His unwavering ways. The flight of whom Could reach the sun's rays. The eagle who flies 'Till the end of his days. |
