a poem about darkness, hidden evil and temptation |
| MIDNIGHT TEMPTATION The moon bleeds red blood, Putrid waters of denial flow fast. Crimson lake overflows with passion And pain. And the dying stars Mirror the past. Shadows sway with blickering madness, Little whispering voices ask, why? Inside of my head the demon rises As the breath of death passes us by. Porcelain faces expose their flaws, The veils of darkness and light grow thin, Horrors of night extend groping claws And a lingering evil prickles the skin. When the wall of light crumbles, And the final veil of darkness falls, Temptation, my midnight temptation, Through the veins of evil it calls. |
