I guess everyone has been here, but it doesn't feel like it when you're there...

So apart
won't just give up

her heart

alone

doesn't have to be this way
from day to day
who's to say
that's all there is

But, if you don't believe
then you're right, they all leave

alone

would that really be so bad
sure beats some of what I've had

yet surrounded by friends
sometimes, can't wait
to see how it all ends
