You thought you knew
How I felt
Why I pushed you away
You never knew

I hid from you
The passion, the pain
The fears inside
You never knew

The joy each time
You said hello
The anticpation
You never knew

I always knew
We could never be
The terror inside
You never knew

You thought you knew
You still do
About my love for you
But you never knew
