How a child is treated

How is a child 's heart to love,when all they see is push and shove?
How can a child learn to care when their slapped in the face or pulled by their hair?
When cruel words are spoken and hugs denied a childs heart simply dies.
As time goes on and wounds aren't healed, it's almost ceretain their fate is sealed.
God please help these children find some peace,give them hope and strength.
For as they grow their hearts turn cold,and they return their anger on their own.
