| The Hike Solace in a quiet world of Giant trees towering like skyscrapers Majestic limbs outstretched Heady pine fragrance fills me. Raking light in a wooded cathedral Footfalls mix with dew drops The path ahead leads to solitude Hustling noise becomes remote. Breathing slows. Thoughts quiet. Peace envelopes me. |
