As I turn through the pages,
In my unfinished book of life,
I read of times of anger,
I read of times of strife...

No one seems to understand,
The way that I constantly feel,
It's as if life was a bad dream,
As if none of it is real..

I awake from the sunlight,
It sends pain through my eyes,
Struggling to remain in the dark,
I open them in despise...

Hoping and praying,
"Never again shall I wake",
But continue to remain,
In a world that is fake...

There is no one who listens,
No one who cares,
No one to love me,
No one would dare...

I remain alone,
Forever just me,
Wondering why,
And wishing to be...
