Smiling

To smile is to laugh,
The result of tickles
In bubbling giggles.

To smile is to mask a face
That would normally be,
A grieving catastrophe.

To smile is to thank
With all of your heart,
And feel it give a start.

To smile is to feel,
And give it all your best,
To make it through the rest,

A smile is a world,
It’s a single drop of rain,
It’s a beam of sunlight

To smile is to grin
To grin is to laugh,
To laugh is to bless.
