Perfect moments, seemingly unreal, as if in a looking glass
Such were they, each and all
Thrilled, moved, sublimated, enthralled
Jewels linked together, playful, whimsical…en masse

Moments cherished, remembered best
Gossamer, diaphanous, dreamy, divine fest
Were they real? Heaven ordained?
Ssshhhh…no words…paradise gained
Whom the gods love they succeed in their quest

Joy pure, unfettered
Simple pleasures treasured
Endless cups of tea
Manna from heaven to me
Celebrated not measured

My darling skeptic let me revel
Real fantasies safe keep, before my pact with the devil
Visions of loving, frissons of delight
To succumb to passion! Soar! Each time a new height!
Close my eyes, relive! The abandon! Dishabille!

With love, admiration and gratitude deep
I'll end this paean but I'll keep
Thoughts of moments of bliss
Cocooned, safe …mmm. Just one more kiss
