This poem relates to a love that is endless. |
| "Love too big to grow old" On a Winter night When the moon is full I sat on my porch An thought of you. I could hear your voice Telling me to come to you And it would all be fine. So I made a trip Way down deep in my soul And I found you there What a sight to behold. You opened your arms to me And I ran to you. I could feel my body shiver With your arms around me tight I don't know why But it just felt so right. You looked into my eyess And I knew it couldn't be. You would never ever be mine Never belong only to me. My heart was breaking But this was the way it has to be. We are two lovers Who belong to others. So I'll meet you on these moonlit nights Deep down in my soul Where we can be together And share a love too big to grow old. |
