I used to view him with adoration as we watched TV
But then, that was before his turnip brain got to me!
Watched his garnet blood turned into mud and cobalt eyes turn coal.
Languid lemur legs stretched on daisy couch, a voice shouts ‘Goal!’
Images crest and sway, a moment here then gone. Now I see!!!
Solution: Remove the batteries from the remote control!
