Hurt again

The wall goes up
As the tide goes down
Another trust broken
Fear again found

Lies in the distance
Now at the front
Pain sears again
My heart bears the brunt

Left alone again
The darkness comes
Envelops me fully
My soul numbs

Life's prophecy fulfilled
The hope flies away
Torment and suffering
Forever here to stay
