A close friend and I are having problems. I wrote this to express my feelings.

We've been friends for awhile now
We've told each other secrets, fears, stories
We've faced so much together
We've always been there for one another
But now…
Now, as much as it pains me, it's time to move on
You're going in a different direction than me and I can't follow
I only hope I'm strong enough to move away
