Phases of love
like phases of the moon
appear quite different
depending on the eve
full love appears
but once a lifetime
contrary to lunal cycles
which repeat
with no memory
of phases lost or past
with no regrets
simply passive appearences
love cannot appear
on such schedules nor
with such passivity
