Despair to Repair

I wrote this while going through a hard time. This is how I got through it.

Despair
Over things that are not fair
You try to turn the other cheek
But the battle inside makes you feel weak
The comfort of a loved one is what you seek
But all the while you are unsuccessful
While feeling regretful
Of all the things you've done by having a good heart
All the damage to your emotions
Has you torn apart
Wishing all the while 'if I would have been more smart'
Yet pondering the issue
You make a new start
You hold your head high
Like you are floating to the sky
And look at this lump as a learning lesson
With the lack or regression
This is my new challenge in life
To stay strong and strive
And hope that one day my words
Will be used to keep someone alive
