Based on a comic my brother created of American soldiers in WWII.

This story is a tribute to my brother. It's based on his comic he created depicting fictional American soldiers who fought in World War 2.

The plane rattled and creaked as the men inside said their quiet prayers and thought of the choices they could have taken rather than this. The American paratroopers have gone to Europe to fight a war that will decide the fate of the world.

Private Miller stared out of the window, gazing at the bright streaks of light zooming passed them. They would be a beautiful sight if they weren’t bringing death with them.
