Just a poem, perhaps about you. |
| Life’s a Perception, Reality a Dream Somewhere, between shades of grey Yellow turned to white and formed a little boy. Color intended his life to simply be free: To experience love, happiness and joy. And for him to decide what shall be. But the moment it became known A life form was present, and thinking all on its own. A fear was born; he had to be controlled. Protect our families, and our homes. . It sounded good, and we bought it. Like a hungry fish, we swallowed it hook, line, and sinker. Weak, helpless and afraid, we couldn’t hear. Lost reason and intuition couldn’t be told; Fear is strong. It will age; suppress the magic, separate right from wrong. Mix truth with lies; transform beauty to misery & strife. Confuse issues beyond belief, honor greed, And adorn it ‘A Wonderful Life.’ In death, it’s told, the Prince of Perception; he knows. You’ll have to decide; if black is red and yellow white. What is a Deception and what is right. © Bird Richards 2005 |
