Fallen Angel

I cower in the shadows,
My body shakes with fear.
I am a fallen angel,
I only bring despair.
My wings broken, my halo shattered,
My feathers turned dark as night.
I am a fallen angel,
I can no longer take flight.
I am taken by darkness,
The sun will never shine.
I am a fallen angel,
Once thought to be divine.
My soul is filled with evil,
My heart starts to bleed.
I am a fallen angel,
Whose mind is filled with greed.
A wicked smile across my face,
My eyes shine blood red.
I am a fallen angel,
All I bring is dread.
I bring pain and misery,
Anger is all I show.
I am a fallen angel,
Which is why God let me go.
