What is the point of telling these lies?
Hurting the ones you love?
Did you care what you said?
Or were you even aware?

All these years I thought I knew you
Yet betrayed at the end by it all
It shook the very earth I walk on

Through blinding tears I shout at the sky
My damp hair stuck to my face
Sobs shudder right through me
As I ask once again why?

The anger and grief coursing through me
